One thought ahead. Three sentences behind.

While President Barack Obama was in Ireland drinking beer, Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, was in Pakistan this week, repairing the United States’ relationship with Islamabad.  Clinton, along with Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, met with high ranking Pakistani officials in order to discuss the national security for both countries.  Clinton even had a behind-closed-door meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari.

How come meetings with presidents are always behind closed doors?  Just once can I read about an open garage door meeting where the leaders resolve international border disputes while grilling steaks?  What about a patio pact?  Hot tub accords?  Even better, sky dive summits, where feuding parties must come to a mutual agreement before either can pull their ripcord.  All the sudden land wouldn’t look so important when rushing towards you at 120 miles an hour.
