Finally some good news!

Even though doughnuts are not considered the healthiest form of breakfast, it is far better to eat the sugar-encrusted, fat-fried dough than to not eat at all.  In fact, dietitian, Karen Ansel of the American Dietetic Association, says, “A doughnut provides enough glucose to switch your body into gear.” Much like rocket fuel launches a space shuttle. And whereas the shuttle should be in orbit before the fuel runs out, an office worker better be at lunch before his blood sugar crashes instead of back at the office, making important decisions like where to go to lunch.

In related news the Corn Refiners Association in an attempt rebrand a beleaguered product petitioned the Food and Drug Administration to change the name “high fructose corn syrup” to “corn sugar.”   Also, those who have spent years consuming the mislabeled sweetener are asking the American Medical Association to categorize them as “robust” instead of “obese.”
