One thought ahead. Three sentences behind.


To get in the holiday spirit I purchased some eggnog the other day, some premium golden eggnog.   I brought it home and poured the extra thick drink into an open glass.  The drink moved so slowly, it gave me enough time to read the contents on the carton, part of it which said, “A GOOD SOURCE OF CALCIUM.”

 I don’t think people who drink eggnog are looking for an extra source of calcium.  They are looking for something that will make brandy taste less like brandy.  If the makers of eggnog are going to put anything on the carton, it should be, “A GOOD SOURCE OF…”  Then the dots could go around the carton until, “ARE YOU STILL LOOKING FOR…” Then back to “A GOOD SOURCE OF…”
